Sweet human being, it is okay if sometimes this all feels really hard. Because… it is. But it is also so, so worth it.
Here’s the truth bomb: Even during those times that you feel like you’re struggling, you’re still making progress. You’re not stuck. You’re just not moving as aesthetically perfectly as you’d like to be. As Pema Chodron has said, “So even if the hot loneliness is there, and for 1.6 seconds we sit with that restlessness when yesterday we couldn’t sit for even one, that’s the journey of the warrior.”
